UNIVA America’s Production Department handled the editing and production of a sales pamphlet targeting the US market for RISO Kagaku Corporation, a company famous for its high-speed color printers, Print Gocco, and other products. (RISO’s current share of the Japanese digital printer market is greater than 60%.)

This pamphlet was created as one element of RISO’s plans to launch a full-fledged marketing campaign throughout the United States, starting with an exhibit at PACK EXPO International 2012, an office equipment–related trade show held in October in Chicago, Illinois. As we drafted the English pamphlet, we at UNIVA were not constrained by a need to produce the most unique design, but rather we emphasized the sense of design that was most appropriate to the US office equipment field and that demonstrated the professionalism that RISO values, trying to create a pamphlet that would directly appeal to RISO’s target audience. UNIVA America will be supporting RISO’s future US marketing strategy, not only in terms of production but in a variety of other areas as well.
